I don’t disagree with you, but I think there’s an element of pragmatism that’s needed when you’re trying to get through the workday. Like, I have a lot of sensory issues related to fabrics. If I could, I would honestly wear a tank top and cut-offs to work every single day. But that would absolutely impact how people perceive me and my work, so I don’t do it. So I think it’s always worth looking at whether there’s anything you’re projecting that could be feeding into the problem you’re experiencing. Then it’s up to you to decide whether it’s worth it to you to change it.
