Hard to imagine that happening — there’s also just so much one-upsmanship between the various companies. Also, if you’re Google, you kinda want to release a phone each year to show off just how much can be done on Android — and what that looks like when it’s perfect (at least from a Google POV).

But…time will tell. Maybe they will get to a point where the release cycle slows??
